Rachel’s unique background informs her interior design work every day.
She began her career in New York as a commodities trader and expanded to being a successful emerging markets trader at the firms of investment legends George Soros and Michael Steinhardt.
Rachel and her family moved to Tokyo where she became enamored with Japanese architecture. The Japanese aesthetic of simplicity and beauty inspired and fuelled her passion for interior design. She further developed her knowledge by studying privately with an art historian and architect in Tokyo.
Rachel and her family then settled in London and was quickly hired by celebrated designer Kelly Hoppen. Kelly valued her “East meets West” approach and exceptional international eye, including eclectic sourcing abilities
She currently divides her time between New York and London where she lives with her husband and two daughters running design practices in both cities.
